John has done some painting for my husband and I in the past. He painted the outside of our house and then one of our bedrooms. He does quality work. When he and his family moved away, I was sorry to see him go, but he and his family just moved back to COS and we were so happy to see him. He just painted the other bedroom and I LOVE IT!!! Wow! We're absolutely thrilled with our home's new look! Patrick Rafferty assured us that our 20-year-old home would look brand new, and he was right. He checked on his team daily and was extremely responsive as the project evolved. Tomás and Ricardo displayed a work ethic beyond reproach, completing an enormous job--total home and detached garage--in less than 5 days. Confident Coatings just finished re-stuccoing and painting the trim, gutters and downspouts on our house. The company and crew were amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure the job was done to perfection. The crew has worked together 20+ years and they have a great system in place from set-up, their stucco process to clean up. Communication with the office, Nan and owner, Bart were superb. Highly recommend their services.
Martin, Mike and his painters were excellent. Mike kept me informed throughout the entire painting process. I am very pleased with their communication and outstanding stucco and trim painting. They were knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and professional.
In March 2025 Confident Coatings repaired, refreshed, and re-coated the stucco on my 14 year old house. The ownership was very responsive to my initial call and subsequent queries. He answered all my questions thoroughly and ensured I understood my options. The Confident Coatings team did an outstanding job and made the house look new. They were quick and professional. The workers cleaned up all materials in the area. I was very impressed. Even my neighbors expressed what a great job Confident Coatings did on my house. In addition to the superb work, Confident Coatings was reasonably priced. I am very pleased with the results, would recommend them to everyone, and would use them again. I cannot say enough good things about Martin Rafferty and his crew leader Mike. These guys showed up at the crack of dawn every day and didn’t leave until six or 630. They worked their butts off to get my job done on time. The result is amazing and I love my “new” house!

We are so pleased with the exterior paint project from Confident Coatings & Exteriors. The crew arrived each morning on time and were friendly. There was assistance with lights and patio furniture. There was no over spray on the windows , doors ,rocks and pavement. Great attention to detail with trim color making our home look new again. Martin communicated often and supervised the project.

Very Pleased with both the owner and the painting crew. Patrick was very attentive throughout the process, from the estimate all the way through to the finish. He also suggested some options on what could be painted to look new.....which saved us some money. This company did such a good job on our 1st home we had them paint our daughters home in Monument. This time the quality and def the professionalism is greatly diminished
They actually painted around a bench leaning against the barn which was suppose to be painted to match, and
No heads up on when they will be there. The quality isn't there this time and we were Given attitude when we couldn't accommodate their schedule to get to their next job???? You can't just show up unannounced and expect us to be home!
No longer a fan, this will be the last job given to them

Exceptional experience with this company. Have great reviews on other listings too. I have an older house with a plaster exterior with some minor cracks that needed repairing. They fixed these and matched the original texture, and then sealed and painted the house in a very timely and efficient manner. They had great recommendations for colors and accents to increase the curb appeal too. The owner was on site every day to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly. Can’t recommend them enough. Very fairly priced and excellent customer service.
Confident Coatings and Exteriors did an amazing job on our house. We thought we would need to hire at least 3 different companies to handle the stucco repair, painting and gutter guards. Confident Coatings and Exteriors does all of that and more and they are extremely professional.
Bart came out the day we called him and gave us a very detailed estimate of the work. We were fortunate to get onto their schedule right away and in one day they had the stucco repaired, the caulking done, house power washed and ready for painting.
They were very patient with us while we worked through choosing colors for house and trim. Bart went above and beyond when we found several houses we liked in a different area of the city and he drove out, identified the colors and put samples on our house to evaluate. Because of this, we found the perfect color for our home and a nice trim to compliment. The end result of their work was absolutely beautiful, detailed and accurate.
Finding reliable, professional and quality service people in today's environment is very difficult. Confidential Coatings and Exteriors were referred to us by a trusted friend and we could not be happier with the service they provided. It was worth every penny. We plan to have them back out for some interior jobs we have and hope to maintain a relationship with them far into the future.

I wish I could give more stars to Bart Rafferty and his crew. Bart is an amazing man of integrity and the job they performed was outstanding. If you need stucco repair, stucco painting, deck repair and painting, or a host of other repairs; give Bart a call. If you have had issues in the past with shady companies, you don't need to worry about Confident Coatings.

What a great experience all around! Bart, the owner was the only company whose owner came to our house and provided a quote. He was professional and quick with a quote. Nan, the office manager was wonderful to work with also! She was a great communicator and always professional and kind. We had our entire house interior painted. Carlos, Tada and Antonia did an amazing job painting our interior. They paid attention to detail and you could tell they loved their job! We would highly recommend Confident Coatings to anyone needing their house painted! They lived up to their name! Contracted to do stucco repair and full home repainting. The team was very hard working and professional all the time. The owner checked in regularly and made sure the project went as planned. The end result is beautiful with a great warranty. Absolutely beautiful work. If I EVER have to do this again (not too soon!), I hope they are still in business because I'd have no issues with Confident Coatings & Exteriors being my first call! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.!
I can't say enough good things about this business! I contracted with them to stucco the exterior of my house and paint the doors, gutters, and wood trim. My primary contact, Patrick Rafferty, was really great to work with throughout the process from estimate to completion. He quoted me a reasonable price, helped me choose my color scheme, and checked in with me nearly every day while the work was being done. The stucco crew was incredibly hard-working and skilled. And while applying stucco is a messy job, they cleaned up the work areas at the end of each application phase so I could safely get my dog in and out of the house to do her business. The work was completed in less than 3 weeks, and the result is spectacular. CC&E is probably the best contractor I've worked with in my 30+ years of home repair and home improvement projects.
Confident Coatings painted a condo unit for us and did an excellent job. They were prompt and accurate with the estimate and the job and was completed on time. They did an incredible interior painting job and respected the property, personal property, and neighbors. The attention to detail they had exceeded my expectations. We have a beatiful "new" stucco and stone home all thanks to Patrick Rafferty & his company, Confident Coatings & Exteriors Inc! Patrick's customer service was excellent, including daily visits to the job site and color and design consultations. All of the work crews consisted of hard-working, polite and helpful men who showed up consistenly on the day promised by Patrick. The stucco and stone work quality was excellent as was the trim painting and really every detail of the project exceeded our high expectations. We just used Confident Coatings and Exteriors to paint our trim and doors. Pat came out to give us an estimate and arranged our painting in a timely manner. His crew is top.notch , friendly and informative, and always clean up their work area at the end of the day. Very quick, reliable and does amazing work. We had many cracks in our stucco and they used a superior material to repair, seal and coat with the most up to date paints from Sherwin Williams. Patrick and his crew supervisor Mike answered all of our questions and assured us with the highest quality professional job. The most easiest contract project we have ever experienced. All we have to say is WOW! We could not be more satisfied with our new roof and the service we received by Bart Rafferty and his team with Confident Coatings & Exteriors! From start to finish the process of having the roof on our 1932 home and garage was effortless. The roof team arrived promptly, removed the old roof, cleaned up and checked for residual nails around our home. That is a big deal especially since since we have dogs. After the new roof was completed, they once again cleaned up and even went onto both of our neighbors' properties and cleaned. Our neighbors were surprised and extremely pleased! Then a company inspector came out with a ladder to check that the work was up to standards. Bart and his team were consummate professionals, respectful of our property and time, and all around made the roof replacement process a positive experience. We’ve been working with this excellent family-owned business since 2015: Interior painting, stucco repair/ sealing, caulking and exterior painting. Bart meets with adjuster(s), navigates the mind-boggling insurance process and coordinates the team. He has the well-earned trust and respect of his team and clients. Patrick and his whole team at Confident Coatings were professional, respectful, top-notch. They took my home from outdated to amazing! They use the best products and I am "confident" my home will look great for years to come.
Confident Coatings & Exteriors was a great company to work with. You will not regret it. We mainly dealt with Bart (one of the owners with his brother Patrick), who provided a good education of what Stucco Repair would entail. We chose the repair involving Seal Crete and Elastomeric coating (10 times the thickness of paint per Internet research) vs the patchwork repair of the traditional concrete stucco patches. Our stucco house is 20 years old and we could see cracks forming where water seepage would occur and other areas where the stucco was already flaking off due the freezing and thawing climate where we live. Bart also accommodated a 2nd free visit to further review their process after I got further information from 3 other stucco repair bids. In the end we chose the repair involving Seal Crete and Elastomeric coating. The house looks brand new and the stucco is now sealed from water seepage with the Seal Crete and Elastomeric stucco coating and 50 year caulk sealant where needed. Confident Coatings provides a 10 year warranty which no other contractor offered. Bart's responsiveness via text messaging and phone calls was always quick, clear, and professional. The crew's foreman (Carlos) who had been with Bart for 20+ years was likewise professional and bent over backwards to ensure all of our questions and needs were satisfied. I've dealt with landscaper contractors, septic field contractors, deck repair/rebuild contractors, fence & gate contractors, and furnace repair contractors. Bart and his crew with Confident Coatings was easily head and shoulders above any of them in all aspects of quality, value, professionalism, responsiveness, and timeliness. Henceforth for us, there is very little need to get other bids for the other services Confident Coatings offers (interior & exterior painting, etc). I'm sure that we will choose Confident Coatings every time.
Just had them stucco our home in Gleneagle, and we couldn't be happier with the final result. The crew was professional and timely with exceptional attention to detail, and the manager kept us appraised of the progress of the job every day - even sending us photos while we were out of town as the work progressed.

We were 3 weeks from closing on our house and we found stucco damage. While Bart sent his team to repair the stucco, we had a hail storm with damages to the roof. He sent estimators and gave us a quick estimate we could afford with what the insurance company covered. The house would not have closed if Bart from Confident Coatings and his teams took their time or put others in front of us. Also, Bianca in the office was quick to send us estimates and coordinating with Bart. Thank you for all your hard and outstanding work.

My experience with Confident Coatings was excellent! I requested a quote for repairs and Bart, one of the owners, came out. He was punctual, professional, and friendly. He gave me a quick lesson in stucco basics which was very informative. We set up a time for the following week for the work to begin. Carlos and Ramon were the crew assigned to my house. The first day they power washed the entire house. The second day they removed damaged stucco and repaired it (they even dug down below the level of the dirt up against the house!) and repaired and caulked all of the trim. The third day they taped the house, sprayed two coats of elastameric coating on the stucco and painted all of the trim. Carlos and Ramon were fast AND exacting! They are true craftsmen who really care about the job they're doing. Everything was beautifully done and the clean-up was meticulous. I couldn't be happier with the way my house turned out and would highly recommend Confident Coatings to anyone who needs to stucco repairs done!
Pat and his team executed a very professional job on our stucco home about 3 1/2 years ago. The color has not faded, the workmanship has stood up to two brutal winters up on Monument Hill, and we've had compliments from passers by and neighbors on how much of a difference the work Confident Coatings made on the overall curb appeal of our home. This is a company that genuinely cares about the projects they take on and not only while they take them on, they care for several years after the work is done. That's not something I find in many industries anymore. 10 out of 10 I recommend this team of professionals.

We have used Confident Coatings for several projects - from painting our stucco to painting an entire interior of a home to painting all of the interior trim. In all cases, we have been tremendously pleased with the work that Bart and his team of great guys has done. I would highly recommend them for any project.

Needed my stucco repaired due to heavy cracks , and really just didn’t know what to do , and then I was referred by a friend at work to Confident Coatings. The owner of buisness came out , and gave me the estimate the same day. He was filled with stucco knowledge back to the late 1800’s. He recommended instead of new stucco to the whole house that we do a repair , and coating to the existing stucco. My house looks brand new , and the leaks around my windows are all dryed up. I couldn’t be happier. From the office manager being quick to respond to the team leader doing the work to the end of the job clean up it was a fantastic Experiance. Thanks again guys!
Highly recommend. Of the three bids we received, Confident was in the middle. We had our two-story house exterior painted one year ago. These guys were amazing. The attention to detail was very appreciated. They did so many nice things like remove all the old nails and hooks from past owners Christmas lights that are too high for me to safely deal with. They we fast and efficient and clean. One year later and the house looks like it was just painted.
